General Information

What is BE Centers Soccer? +

BE Centers is an indoor soccer facility located in Milton/Alpharetta, Georgia. We offer year-round soccer training/free play.

What is BE Centers Wellness? +

My journey to BE Centers began the day I became a mom.

Our Why

I had a difficult birth, and honestly, a difficult everything in those early years. My babies didn't sleep well. We faced night terrors, eating struggles, trouble riding in the car, gut issues, and complex migraines. Because I had experienced many of the same things growing up, I knew in my heart this wasn't a personality thing. It was a body thing.

That knowing set me on a path. I studied child development in college and became a Montessori teacher. Later, I went back to study childhood neurological disorders and functional neurology, and that's where everything came together. I learned how the core of the nervous system, especially the sensory and vestibular systems, works to heal, to regulate, and to support the development of the body and brain. It gave me a whole new understanding of my children, of myself, and of how the inner and outer workings of a person are connected. That's where my why began to grow.

Then came soccer. BE well, BE Ready, BE able to play, BE the pro

My sons play soccer with fierce determination and commitment. One son in particular has dedicated most of his life to his dream of playing professionally. I've always considered myself part of his team, and my role has been mind, body, neurological health, sleep, nutrition, and overall wellness.

Unfortunately, injury can be part of an athlete's journey. For my son, that has meant multiple surgeries, multiple recoveries, and multiple stretches of living with what injury does to a player, physically and mentally. We've lived the reality of an overworked, under-repaired body and what that means for being ready to step onto the field. We've lived the post-surgery and post-injury questions: What now? What about this? What if? We've lived the before, the during, and the keep-on-keeping-on, and we're still living it today.

Through it all, we learned a simple truth: train hard, and recover even harder.

What we built

BE Centers brings together the recovery tools and modalities I found along the way, the ones that made a real difference for our family. Every service we offer is professional grade, the same high-level modalities used by professional clubs and players. They're designed to help prevent injury, reset the nervous system, support the body's natural detox processes, quiet the mind, and lower inflammation.

I've spent a small fortune searching for answers to things that didn't make sense any other way. These are my lessons learned, and I feel a real sense of duty to pass them on. To help the next mom. The next child. The next athlete.

My husband and I have invested ourselves in creating a community that offers professional-level equipment and expertise at an approachable price. Our goal is to educate everyone, and especially athletes, about the power of pairing training with recovery, and the impact it can have on performance, healing, and everyday life. For the last two years my eldest son has been playing professionally in Argentina. Even at the highest levels, there is a lack of recovery focus and my son is able to use and share what he brought with him.

We hope you feel the difference the moment you walk through our doors, and that BE Centers becomes part of your team, just as it has been part of ours. From learning to be the pro along the journey to the pro in life.

Soccer FAQ

About BE Centers Soccer

About the founders +

Allyson & Rafael Alvarez are the founders of BE Centers and are local Alpharetta residents. We chose this location to be close to our home and to bring a focus of long-term soccer development and wellness to the community in an approachable way. Rafael grew up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from the ages of 6 months to 13. As soon as he could run, he played street soccer in his building, at school, at the beach and in the more humble areas of Rio. In his last year in Rio he made the Flamengo Academy and had a brief stint before moving to São Paulo. He moved to England his senior year and played semi-pro before moving back to the US for college. To help his sons, he invested in the Johan Cruyff Football Coach certification and the DBC Sports L3 Performance & Athlete Development Certification Course. He is a father of two sons, Evan (22) and Bryce (16), and nurtured a love of soccer in a soccer household — a culture of fundamentals, skills, passion and investing as much as each child wants to develop. Evan signed a pro contract in Argentina for a second division team after a season at Georgia Gwinnett College and has remained in Argentina for the last two years. Bryce plays for Alpharetta High School and continues to work on all areas of his game. Rafael has navigated the soccer journey with his two boys across 4 states (CA, FL, NC & GA) and 3 countries (Uruguay, Brazil and Argentina). Rafael believes in the American soccer player, and he and the soccer team will instill values of development: mental focus, ball mastery, confidence and positivity.

Food, sports drinks, and gum are not permitted on the field. Games are 3 vs 3 to 5 vs 5, lasting around 5 minutes. No slide tackling — stay on your feet. Players with their back to a wall or fence should be allowed to turn and continue the game. Any unsporting or aggressive behavior may result in permanent expulsion from the facility. No foul language, put-downs, comparisons, complaining or fighting. Players call their own fouls, and our moderator (not a referee) keeps the flow of the game. Be a respectful part of the community — the goal at BE Centers Soccer is to build cardio, play free and have more touches.

Do I need a membership? +

Wear comfortable, loose clothing. Bring water a towel, and a change of clothes if you plan to use the sauna or cold plunge. We provide robes, sandals.

How early should I arrive? +

Please arrive 10 minutes early for your first visit. You'll complete a short health questionnaire and waiver, and a team member will walk you through each modality.

Yes, and many guests do. Popular pairings include sauna followed by cold plunge (contrast therapy), or red light followed by the vibroacoustic bed to wind down. Our team can suggest an order based on your goals.

How often should I come? +

It depends on your goals. Many guests start with 2–3 visits a week and adjust from there. Consistency matters more than the length of any one session.

What is your cancellation policy? +

Our memberships are three month memberships. Written notification is required 30 days prior to recurring automated payment. Please cancel at least 24 hours in advance to cancel a scheduled modality via Mindbody.

Elysium Red Light Therapy Bed

What is red light therapy? +

Red light therapy (also called photobiomodulation) uses red and near-infrared LED light at specific wavelengths. You lie in a full-body bed that surrounds you with light for an even treatment.

What do people use it for? +

Guests commonly use it to support skin health and appearance, muscle recovery after workouts, joint comfort and general relaxation.

Does it hurt or feel hot? +

No. The light is gentle and feels comfortably warm. It does not use UV light, so it won't tan or burn your skin.

How long is a session? +

Sessions typically run 10–20 minutes.

What should I wear? +

Most guests wear little or nothing so the light reaches more skin. You'll have a private room. Protective eyewear is provided.

How soon will I notice results? +

Some people feel more relaxed after one session. Changes in skin or recovery usually build over several weeks of regular use.

Cryotherapy

What is cryotherapy? +

Cryotherapy uses extreme cold for a short time. Our localized cryotherapy device directs a stream of very cold CO₂ at a specific area, such as a knee, shoulder or lower back. The rapid cooling triggers the body's natural response to cold.

What do people use it for? +

Guests use it for sore muscles, joint discomfort, swelling after activity and faster recovery between workouts. It is also used on the face and body for skin-toning treatments.

What does it feel like? +

It feels intensely cold, then numb, for a short time. A trained team member moves the nozzle constantly and watches your skin temperature so the area never gets too cold.

How long does it take? +

Most treatments take 5–15 minutes per area. There's no downtime, so you can go right back to your day.

How many sessions will I need? +

Some people feel relief after one treatment. For ongoing discomfort, a series of sessions over a few weeks is common. We'll suggest a plan after your first visit.

BioCharger

What is the BioCharger? +

The BioCharger is a wellness device that combines four forms of energy: light, frequencies, voltage and harmonics. You sit or stand near it while it runs a selected program, called a "recipe."

What do people use it for? +

Guests use it to feel more energized and focused, to recover after exercise, or simply to relax. Recipes are designed around goals like energy, recovery, relaxation and mental clarity.

What does a session feel like? +

There is no physical contact with the device. You'll see bright light and hear sounds. Many guests describe feeling calm, refreshed or energized afterward.

How long is a session? +

Most sessions last 15–30 minutes, depending on the recipe.

Who should not use the BioCharger? +

If you have a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device, are pregnant, or have epilepsy or a history of seizures, please don't use it. Talk with your doctor first if you're unsure.

Sauna

What type of sauna do you have? +

We have an infrared sauna. An infrared sauna warms your body directly with infrared light at a lower air temperature (about 120–150°F). A traditional sauna heats the air (about 160–195°F).

What are the benefits? +

Guests use the sauna to relax, ease muscle tension, support recovery and enjoy a good sweat. Regular sauna use is linked in research to heart and overall wellness benefits.

How long should I stay in? +

Sessions are 20–40 minutes. If you're new, start with 15–20 minutes and build up. Step out anytime you feel lightheaded or uncomfortable.

How should I prepare? +

Drink water before and after, and avoid a heavy meal or alcohol beforehand. Towels are provided.

Can I use the sauna with the cold plunge? +

Yes. Going back and forth between heat and cold is called contrast therapy, and it's one of our most popular combinations. Many guests do 2–3 rounds and finish with cold.

Cold plunge

What is a cold plunge? +

A cold plunge is a tub of chilled, filtered water kept at about 39–50°F. You get in up to your shoulders for a short time.

Why do people cold plunge? +

Guests use it to reduce muscle soreness, recover faster after training, boost alertness and mood, and build mental resilience.

How long should I stay in? +

Beginners should aim for 1–3 minutes. Experienced guests may stay longer, but more time isn't always better. Get out anytime you need to.

I've never done it. Any tips? +

Enter slowly and focus on long, steady exhales. The first 30 seconds are the hardest, and it gets easier as your breathing settles. A team member can guide you through your first plunge.

Is the water clean? +

Yes. The water is continuously filtered and sanitized, and we test it daily. Please shower before you plunge.

Vibroacoustic bed

What is vibroacoustic therapy? +

Vibroacoustic therapy uses low-frequency sound vibrations delivered through speakers built into the bed. You hear calming music through headphones and feel it as gentle vibrations through your body.

What do people use it for? +

Guests use it to relax deeply, ease stress, release muscle tension and improve sleep. It's a good way to wind down after a more intense modality.

What does it feel like? +

Most people describe it as a soothing full-body hum, similar to a gentle massage. You stay fully clothed, and you can adjust the intensity.

How long is a session? +

Sessions typically run 20–30 minutes. Many guests fall asleep, and that's completely fine.

Vibration power plates

What is a vibration plate? +

A vibration plate is a platform that vibrates rapidly while you stand, sit or hold simple exercises on it. The vibration makes your muscles contract many times per second, so they work harder with little impact on your joints.

What do people use it for? +

Guests use it to warm up, activate muscles, improve circulation and balance, and add a low-impact strength workout. It's also popular for stretching and light massage after a workout.

Do I need to be fit to use it? +

No. You can simply stand on the plate or do basic moves like squats and calf raises. A team member will show you how to use it and set the intensity for you.

How long is a session? +

A session is short, usually 10–15 minutes.

Safety

Is this safe for everyone? +

Our modalities are safe for most healthy adults, but some conditions call for a doctor's OK first. We review your health questionnaire before your first session. Please tell us about any changes to your health.

Is there an age requirement? +

Guests under 18 need a parent or guardian's consent, and some modalities may be limited to adults.
